Gallymogger's the second best district to work in Red City.
It could be better, say, like Rosecrest, where all the rich folks live…but ya gotta have a permit to go there. I ain't exactly the clean and savory type, myself—just a cab man. My old man and a couple of my brothers, who never got out, work down by the shore, shuckin' oysters.
It's not great work, but at least none of 'em turned pirate. Not that I'd ever go around moanin' about pirates. Those oily snakes 've got ears everywhere, and I ain't about to pick a fight with one of those ice-in-the-veins crazy crooks.
