Time: Far-distant future.


And lo, the end of days, when the gates of Hell were thrown wide to issue forth the Devil's Breed.


...Except it wasn't the end of days, the gates weren't exactly tightly shut to begin with, and Hell is nothing like humanity seems to think.


The world will keep spinning, even if those hypocritical idiots did block most of the sunlight. Funny how quickly people from the middle and upper classes managed to abandon the 'less deserving' for their floating cities, or Raptures...whatever they wanted to call them.


So now, everybody else is stuck on SubEarth, a mixture of humans and humanoid devils. Those devils that had already snuck into the Human realm have come out in the open with the rest of their fellows. The crime rate has gone up and the police department is grossly understaffed, but the situation is surprisingly nowhere near war. Just...ridiculous overpopulation. At least 'The Devil' 's popular nightclub chain is keeping some of the people off the street. And there's no shortage of wealthy 'Rapture businessmen' coming down to spend cash on the dancing 'dirties'.


Hell itself is not a place of torment. The denizens are not disgusting creatures. There is a hierarchy, a world in itself. The King of Hell is the strongest among all demons, and upon his murder or passing the title, the next strongest demon takes the throne. The current King's eldest son is believed by many to be the next ruler, for he seems to be the strongest devil after his father, and becoming stronger with time. They say that he has all of the qualities needed to be a great king.


To join:

-You must be literate.

-You must be capable of following a storyline and established role/hierarchy system.

-You must obey the rules.

-You must create a character.

-You must clear your character with the founder and at least one of the operators in AngelPill.


Rules:

I. NO angsting (not at first anyway, we’ll negotiate)-we play in the present, not your characters depraved childhood! A little spice is ok but please don’t ruin the dish.

II. Please don’t make any angels or half devils etc., not for a while at least.

III. All character must have a reasonable weakness, or if not then no real strengths i.e. not dies when killed! They should be weaknesses that physically inhibit them and/or causes them to lose the will to fight.

IV. Don’t kill other player’s characters without permission.

V. Your character must have the basics before you can join, aka must have a name

VI. Do NOT use Desus ex Machina!!! That is, no convenient miracles, it is also know as “The old parachute-under-the-seat-of-the-crashing-plane trick” if you get what I mean.

VII. If you introduce villains they must be open to group conflict, not just exclusively personal battles.

VIII. Obviously, no controlling other player’s characters.

IX. Preferably no self insertion.

X. Try to get spelling as close as you can to right.
